Our Academy Program
The objective of the Academy Program is to prepare players for opportunities beyond youth soccer.
The program offers youth player’s soccer league participation on our academy teams, advanced skills training programs and camps. We develop players who believe they have the potential to become elite players but are not afforded a pathway through the existing soccer establishment.
Our training programs are designed to develop the individual player’s technical, tactical and cognitive abilities (Soccer IQ). Orix Academy’s proven track record and network in soccer allow us to provide a unique and innovative training experience for our program participants in assisting them to reach their soccer goals.
Orix is firmly committed to ensuring whenever possible players will play at their ability level and are not restricted by age group designations. As a result all players in the ACADEMY TRAINING PROGRAMS will receive opportunities to train and play matches with older age groups if they are deemed by Orix academy staff as ready to play and compete at the next level. We believe this is the best way to achieve accelerated development and prepare players for opportunities beyond youth soccer.
At Orix we have a simple philosophy “more teaching less coaching”.
